Why I’m not a JavaScript developer / Russ Anderson

Tuesday 11 Aug 2015 from 6:00pm - 7:00pm

Russ has been a front-end developer for 4 years. Recently, though, after looking at a list of sample JS interview questions put together by the folks at HTML5 boilerplate (https://github.com/h5bp/Front-end-Developer-Interview-Questions#js-questions), he realized that there were several questions he wouldn’t be able to answer on the spot.

Russ will be presenting what he has learned researching the answers to some of these questions, covering several JS fundamentals that might not be obvious to developers used to using libraries and frameworks. His talk will help fill in some of your own knowledge gaps and provide some real world examples on how to apply answers to these questions to your own code.

The title “Why I’m not a JavaScript developer” was inspired by a post from Brad Frost:https://gist.github.com/bradfrost/59096a855281c433adc1
